although, if it were to keep with film cannon, it would be fun to see Bond set out on missions, leading to the the eventual kills of Dryden and Fisher. I am fine with either, but the idea of a Hitman style 007 game set during the Cold War era of the 50s and 60s sounds too delicious to not consider it. I am curious though, and forgive me if the question has already been asked - i am not as regular on these boards as i used to be.īut when would you like to see this game set? Present Day, or Cold War era? i am a very happy fat man at the moment lol This game will have a unique name, independent of anything Fleming that's remained unused, I believe. Which sounds a bit like the Casino Royale Secret Cinema! I was dashing back and forth from Madagascar to Miami all evening :D Yeah, my thought was several separate smaller open world locales for Bond to tool around in and fly between. I suppose they could break it into smaller locations to allow for a bit of globetrotting, but that's why I think Hitman's open-ended environments and mission structure will allow for a more cohesive Bond story. I can't imagine the whole Bond story taking place in one massive location. However, I feel like the Rockstar blueprint wouldn't quite work for Bond as a whole. I think an open world Bond, in theory, would be an interesting experience. Get cool cars and drive them how you like, complete with gadgets. That's why I would have liked Rockstar, I feel GTA would have been a brilliant template for a Bond game pop into a casino and do some gambling when you please. As you said, it would be great if there was some gambling segments in the game. Nick play some of the hitman games trust me
